WII NOT FOUND ACCESS POINT / WII NÃO ENCONTRA ACESS POINT

Não consegui me cadastrar no fórum técnico da Nintendo para postar sobre isso, então estou escrevendo no meu blog pensando que isso pode ajudar alguém com o mesmo problema e que busque a solução pelo Google.
Meu Nintendo Wii, que não usava há alguns meses, não estava mais encontrando meu access point para acessar a Internet. Eu havia reconfigurado meu roteador neste meio tempo. Tentando reconfigurar o Wii para as novas configurações, ele simplesmente não encontrava o access point (SSID). Estou usando WPA2-AES.
A solução encontrada foi alterar no roteador (um LINKSYS WRT54G) o canal wireless, que antes estava no 12 - 2.467Ghz. O atual ficou sendo o 1 - 2.412Ghz.
Não entendi porque o Wii não encontrava a rede na outra frequência, mas fica a dica de que se você esta passando pelo mesmo problema, esta pode ser uma possível solução.

I couldn't perform my register on Nintendo's technical forum to post about this, so I'm writing in my own blog thinking this may help someone with the same problem who's seeking for the same problem on Google.
My Nintendo Wii, which I didn't use last months, was not finding my access point to access the Internet. I had reconfigured my router in the meantime. Trying to reset the Wii to the new wireless settings, it simply could not find my access point (SSID). I am using WPA2-AES.
The solution was to change the router (a LINKSYS WRT54G) wireless channel, which was before the 12 - 2.467Ghz. The current was being channel 1 - 2.412GHz.
I couldn't understand why Wii couldn't find the network on another frequency, but the hint is that if you are going through the same problem, this may be a possible solution.
